Classic Lures are the brainchild of famous Australian lure designer, Rob Gaden. Well-respected in both lure making and tournament angling circles, Rob has developed the Classic Lures range to satisfy the demanding Australian Barramundi scene.

There are 11 different models in the Classic Lures line-up. These range in size from the miniscule Classic 65 through to the BIG-Barra-catching Classic 160. Fish can run, but they can’t hide, ‘cause we’ve got every depth covered, from the surface busting Tidal Wave Popper to the depth-probing F18 Manta Ray there is no escaping the effectiveness of Classic Lures.
Although designed primarily as a Barra lure, Classic’s shine on a list of other species, both in the north, and the south. Their tight, seductive, shimmy-action is irresistible to not only Barra of all sizes but also to Mangrove Jacks, Queenfish, Trevally, Tarpon, in fact just about any fish in the north. Add to that, Jewfish, Flathead, Bream, Tailor, Salmon, Kingfish, Bass and dozens of other species in the south and you can see that Classic Lures are a very versatile product indeed.
Classic Lures are fitted with heavy-duty hardware as standard right from the factory. Straight from the packet, Classic’s feature three, 3X strong VMC trebles which are fitted with super-heavy duty split rings. As well as this is the super-strong, polycarbonate bib and extra-tough finish. All in all, Classic’s are built tough to handle the toughest fishing conditions Australia can offer.
The colour range is astonishing; with over 30 different patterns available, we really have tried to cover just about every conceivable situation. There are several different finishes in the range including chrome-plated, gold-plated, matt, and our patented “Bobby Dazzler” finish. These superb colour patterns only add to the effectiveness of Classic Lures.
