Jointed Jitterbugs feature the same fish-producing ability as the standard Jitterbugs, with an additional “tail-wagging” action. The motion of the jointed tail creates extra flash from the frantic swinging of the lure’s brightly plated treble hooks. This can be an excellent strike trigger on nights with a bright, full moon. Jointed Jitterbugs come in two sizes; a 2.5” which weighs in at 3/8oz. and a 3.5” version weighing in a 5/8oz. Bass and Cod anglers should look to these lures for a louder, more “active” alternative to the standard Jitterbugs
