With universal applications for all types and standard sizes of saltwater trolling and deep water rods, our Standard roller tip-tops, featuring Aftcote bearings, are designed to match up with both our Heavy Duty and Regular roller guide sets. Available in both large head (L) and small head (S) versions in many sizes, the “L” models offer extra knot clearance, as with the 112L, 114L, and 116L, our most popular models for stand-up style rods.
We recommend the Standard roller tip-tops in a large head version for all rods in the 15 and 24kg class when wishing to run wind-on leaders. For all standard 10, 15 and 24kg rods, the Small head version is an excellent choice.
